Uncensored Media Center takes its name from the fact thatv it is a place that produces uncensored and impartial media products. The structure undertakes the task of bringing together the Town and the Gown in order to create an environment conducive to producing uncensored media. For this reason, it is located in Duatepe Park, which is located between Hisarüstü Campus and South Campus of Boğaziçi University and front of the Hisarüstü neighborhood. Duatepe Park is currently an idle place, but ‘Uncensored’ aims to show the view from the fragmentary angles of this land, which has a panoramic view of the Bosphorus.
A communication network was designed under the name of the Town and Gown discussion, and this network should be located in the gray area between the campus and the neighborhood, namely the transition point.
Within the framework of the town and gown program, the aim is to bring town and gown together. For this reason, shared communication space consisting of multiple modules are positioned in the gray area.
